Her Highness Dr. Winfred Wanjiku Gitonga is the Vice President of VisionAfric Development. She is a focused businesswoman and entrepreneur of Kenyan nationality. She is Ambassador-at-Large with International Human Rights Commissions and Organizations advocating for women’s and children’s rights. Leveraging on coalition building, public relations and broker/negotiation knowledge, she is a dynamic creative thinker and a highly accomplished resource mobilizer with proven leadership skills.

Under authorized specialized agencies and organs in accordance with international law, HH. Dr. Gitonga serves as an arbitrator and mediator for Peaceful Settlements of International and Regional Disputes and Conflicts while advocating for respect for human rights, peace and security, gender equality, cohesion, social justice and rule of law.

For her significant distinguished philanthropic and humanitarian contributions, HH Dr Winfred holds multiple International Honorary Doctorate degrees of humane letters, philosophy, human rights and International law (Honoris Causa), recognitions, medals, global change maker awards, accolades and granted titles from International Human Rights Organizations and Institutions.

She is the Africa Continental President of the International Interdisciplinary Innovation Centre of Life – Alliance of the Peoples of the World which was established under the auspices of the future of UNESCO Category 11 Center responsible for organizing the creation, operation, coordinating and building coalition of host UNESCO member states at the UN. Represented in over 175 countries globally, the mandate of Alliance of the Peoples of the World as part of the Economic Peace Centre of Eastern Europe, the Greater Middle East and Africa is to promote development of Peace, Unity, Solidarity, Culture, Education, Scientific Innovation Centres, Social – Economic Development and Co-existence of peoples of the world for a sustained future of the planet.

Among other Companies and Organizations where she has distinguished her role for promoting equitable and sustainable development for Africa, HH Dr Gitonga is a founder member and serves as Group CEO of the Horn of Africa Smart Cities Group; she is a Consulting Associate and Mission Ambassador for Music Light (Utah – USA), and holds leadership positions in other multiple organizations as a Global Advisor and Associate Consultant and Representative of several organizations.

With her diplomatic nature, international relations and leadership ability, HH Dr Winfred Gitonga is one of the founder members of the Board of Trustees and Vice President of VisionAfric Development. She believes that the African continent is no doubt the most resource-abundant continent and that we must proactively and collectively arise to transform Africa into a united integrated global powerhouse through the economic development agenda.

She brings her over 20 years wealth of experience in strategic planning, teamwork, leadership and decision making to support policy formulation for social-economic development and inclusive growth for a sustainable lasting future for Africa. She believes that the lead team must be able to engage, plan, develop, collaborate, motivate, inspire and direct others in order to efficiently exploit their potential in a coordinated manner.
