Clearly, the implementation of Agenda 2063 cannot be left solely to state actors, hence there is need for a non-governmental organization (NGO) like VisionAfric Development to get involved.

NGOs often have a unique perspective and set of skills that can complement the work of Governments and Intergovernmental organizations in achieving development goals.

Some of the values that VisionAfric Development brings to the implementation of Agenda 2063 and the push for accelerated African development include:

  1. Flexibility and Innovation: As an NGOs we are more flexible and adaptable than government agencies, allowing us to respond quickly to changing circumstances and experiment with new approaches to development.
  2. Grassroots Knowledge and Experience: As an NGO, we would work closely with communities and have first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing them. This will help to ensure that development interventions are more contextually appropriate and effective.
  3. Accountability and Transparency: As an NGOs, we prioritize accountability and transparency in our operations, which can help to build trust and legitimacy with stakeholders and promote good governance practices.
  4. Partnership and Collaboration: As an NGO, we work in partnership with other organizations, including Governments, national Parliaments, international organizations, and other NGOs. This will help to build networks and coalitions that can work together to achieve shared goals in Africa’s development.
  5. Advocacy and Awareness-raising: As an NGOs we engage in advocacy and awareness-raising activities that can help to promote public debate and discussion around development issues, as well as raise awareness about the importance of achieving Agenda 2063 goals.

As an NGO, VisionAfric Development, will play an important role in the implementation of Agenda 2063 by bringing our unique perspectives, skills, and values to the table. Through collaboration with African Governments, African Parliaments, international organizations, and other stakeholders, we shall help to drive progress towards achieving the ambitious goals set out in Agenda 2063 and contribute to the overall development of Africa.
